These are my go to products and techniques that I rely on everyday!
After I wash my face, I apply this moisturizer all over my face (a little goes a long way) and rub it in. Once it is absorbed I do not put any makeup products on my face for about five minutes to create a barrier between my makeup and skin.
This primer is fantastic for reducing shine anywhere on your face! I would not recommend this primer if you have dry skin. This primer extends the wear of your makeup, prevents shine and keeps your makeup looking matte.
This is a full coverage foundation, if you prefer lighter coverage I would recommend NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. I wear Light 44 (Cool) and Light 45 (Neutra)l in Kat Von D Foundation. These are very light foundations in color, and the neutral foundation has more of a yellow undertone. I apply this foundation with a damp Beauty Blender.
This my holy grail concealer, it is medium-full coverage, yet lightweight. I apply this concealer underneath my eyes, in between my eyebrows, above my lip, on my chin and spot treat any redness or pimples. I blend this in with the same beauty blender I used for my foundation. Use stippling motions (bouncing up and down in contiguous motion) to blend in any liquid products.
I love this powder it is inexpensive and you get a lot of powder compared to other brands. I bake my under eyes with a separate damp beauty blender. Baking is a method used to set foundation/concealer, you pick up powder on a damp beauty blender and apply it to the area you want to set. You leave the powder in place for a few minutes to allow the powder to trap the heat and “bake” your concealer. Tutorial on “How to Bake”. After my concealer has baked I take a Cle de Peau Powder Puff and pick up loose powder and pat the rest of my face to set it.
I then take a Morphe powder brush and pick up a little bit of pressed powder and run that all over my face to dust off any excess loose powder and to set my makeup once again.
I use the Anastasia Powder Contour Kit in Light to Medium. I pick up a small amount of the Bottom middle shade (Fawn) with a Morphe Eyeshadow Brush and contour my nose by deepening the sides of my nose. Tutorial on “How to Contour” If you just want to purchase one shade from the kit you can purchase individual pans online.
This highlighter is highly reflective but not chalky or too sparkly. I take my finger and pick up some product and run it down the bridge of my nose. I sometimes highlight my cheekbones with a fan brush.
I use this bronzer in the shade light. I use this bronzer all over to warm up my face. I apply it with PRO Sephora Bronzer Brush.
I apply this blush in shade 52 with a Morphe Blush Brush to my nose and the apples of my cheeks, then I sweep the small excess of blush back towards my ear from the apples of my cheeks. You want the majority of the color on the apples of your cheeks.
I spray a generous amount all over my face from about 12 inches away, this spray sets your makeup and it also melts any powder into your face to make the powdery look disappear. I then take a book or a makeup palette and fan my face to set my makeup, I find this helps prolong my look.
I apply this brow powder with the Anastasia Brow Brush. I pick up the powder and slowly build the shape of my brow by first creating a line at the front of my brow, then adding some powder to the top and bottom and then darkening the brows towards the outer edge. I use the spooly to blend the powder at the end.
This is a thicker mascara, but I love it! I start by curling my lashes, then applying Benefit They’re real primer and then adding the mascara on top.
THE LOOK IS NOW DONE!
